Intro:
This tournament takes its structure from the Ehud’s King of the Hill Tournament. In the beginning there will be 8 groups of 8 players each one, so every player has to fight against each other and the
loser will be kicked off the hill. In that way, in every new round there will be one less player than in its predecessor. At last, there will be only two players in each group that will fight three battles to find out
who deserves to be called the group’s King , then all the Kings will fight for the crown of King of the Hill. Scoring: The outcome of a battle will give victory points to one or both players. The victory points will be assigned according to the following table: |
 |
|
|
| |
winner |

Decisive Victory |
winnig by a difference greater than 3 units |
3 pts. |

The player who has lesser points at the end of the round will be eliminated. If there is a tie between two players this will be decided in favor
to the winner of their respective head-to-head matchup. In case of a tie among more than two players, the one who has lost more units will be kicked off. If there is still a tie, who killed lesser enemy units will be
eliminated. If there is still a tie...the tournament is over and I will be declared Dictator of the Hill, abolishing the hilly monarchy
forever.Ties among players to decide the winner of a group will be conversely resolved. There is a bonus
for the winner of each round, which will consist in an amount of points that the player carries to the next round. This bonus will be computed only to help the player to stay in the Hill in the case that he’s anywhere near the bottom of the score, but it won’t be counted to decide the winner of the round. This bonus will vary from round to round, and it is detailed in the next table:

The armies:
The battles will be all Civil War (i.e. both players using the same army, any variant is allowed, but some armies are being edited by deleting one ore many variants so that enforcing the group’s requirements) and will be issued by the tournament manager. To every round will correspond a given army/map pair for all its battles, but every group will be using different combinations. Each group is being designed to give us different “flavors” or specialties in order to satisfy any player’s taste. The eight groups, so formed, are:

The Championship Hill
will be formed by one game army/map of each minor Hill. The pairs and the order in which they will be played will be chosen at random after all the minor Hill tournaments begin. The final rounds:
there will be three battles. Every player will be low scorer in one of them, and the remaining one will be decided randomly. To be crowned King of the Hill a player has to win at least two of these battles.
Time limit:
There will be a time limit of one month (45 days for the Biggies Group Hill) to conclude every game in a round. Every player that couldn’t make the deadline can be eligible to be eliminated. The manager will contact such players after the deadline to find out the possible causes of the delays, then he could decide whether to concede more time to finish the games or finish the round kicking them off. If one or more players should be eliminated by this cause, no other player will be eliminated that round regardless the battle results. If more than one player should be eliminated by this cause, one or more rounds of the tournament will be skipped.
